Feedback—TEFL/TESOL Certification Program

Please note that feedback for our TEFL/TESOL Certification program is provided anonymously.  Due to space constraints, we only provide a small percentage of the feedback we receive.  We are always happy to provide additional feedback examples and references for our programs, and we suggest you read feedback on our Facebook page too.

• Sherry is incredibly knowledgeable and really cares about how we do. In the beginning, I was worried that she was looking for us to completely conform to her style but she is very open to different approaches and rapports in the classroom.

• Sabrina was an excellent trainer!  She inspired me.  The people at Maximum Level are all so friendly!  All 12 modules were excellent.  The student teaching was VERY VALUABLE—Thank you!

• Sherry works so much and so well, she should earn hundreds of thousands of dollars for what she does.  She is fun, knowledgeable and thorough.

• All the trainers were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the course.  The staff at Máximo Nivel were very helpful—they solved our housing problem the same day!

• Tom and Sabrina were really enthusiastic and motivated trainers.  They showed real interest in all of us.  The client service was really good. 

• My TEFL group really enjoyed hearing about practical experiences from Sabrina.  The observations and feedback were invaluable.  The dedicated computers for the TEFLers were awesome, and the new TEFL Room is lovely, as are all the other amenities at Maximo!  Wow!

• Just finished the TEFL.  I can't believe how much I learned in 4 short weeks. The hands on nature of the course really prepared me for teaching! Sherry is a great teacher! I would recommend this course to anyone for sure.

• Tom possesses unbelievable amounts of energy.  The course was full on, but Tom also made it lots of fun.  With respect to the staff, at any point I've needed help there was always someone there.  The staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful.  Facilities are always available and very clean.  The school has a wonderful vibe.

• Sabrina was excellent at delivering the material.  He was always fun and energetic.  The people in Office 6 always greeted me with smile.  I really enjoyed my time over the 4 weeks, learned a lot of new skills and have a totally new view on how second language learners learn English.  

• Niiiiice!  Tom has fantastic energy and provides picture-perfect demonstration of the techniques.  His enthusiasm is infectious.  Jonathan who runs the adventure and cultural tours deserves medals!  He's awesome.  The facilities are clean, bright, and I really like the colorful artwork in the classrooms.

• Natalie is the best teacher I've ever had.  She was amazingly boisterous with miraculous energy…truly magnificent.  She truly cared about each student. Overall, service was incredible! Everyone became like family…everyone always had a smile on their face and went out of the way to accommodate us.

• Natalie is the epitome of excellence in teaching.  Her professionalism is stellar.  Excellent energy, superb knowledge of the topic.  I can't get over what I got from this course and Natalie.  The staff were extremely attentive and hardworking.  Heidy is especially great!

• Sabrina made the TEFL course intensive and challenging, but this was all carried out in a really fun and relaxed atmosphere. 

• Tom always made the lessons fun and lighthearted; grammar was especially well done.  Máximo's staff is always on hand to help out with problems—very accommodating and efficient.  The TEFL Room was always available and was a very pleasant environment to work in.  Good free coffee too!

• Our TEFL Trainer [Natalie], ...I mean it was actually shocking to see how great a teacher she is.

• Natalie is an excellent teacher. Not only is she experienced and knowledgeable, she is friendly, positive and helpful. Had it not been for Natalie’s strong guidance and help I do not think that my peers and I would have had such a positive course.

• Tom is a really nice trainer.  He has amazing chemistry with the group, but most of all he knows ESL inside and out.  Maximo Nivel has excellent customer service.  All of the employees were always happy to help whenever needed.  They have the nicest people, especially considering it's a totally international staff.  The offices and classrooms are excellent.  I've really grown to love teaching and getting to know my students—especially the students because they are so friendly and enjoyable.

• Tom really gives performance-based lessons.  Very engaging, exciting, and edgy.  Well planned and very well organized.  We all recieved the best customer service.  The International Team was always there to help us, no matter what the problem was.

• Tom was an amazing instructor and ESL model.  I will use his techniques wherever I go.  The staff is really nice, and I always felt i could be helped with anything here.  The teaching rooms are very conducive to learning.  Everything is well organized.  This has been a fantastic course.  I learned a lot more than I thought I would.

• Tom is excellent, focused, on-task, great humor, kind, honest, and persistent.  Maximum Level is 100% professional and available—very helpful for supplies and anything else I needed.  Their facilities are excellent too.  The observations of other teachers as well as being observed myself with strong postive and negative feedback was very helpful.

• Tom has great energy, and brought a lot to the class.  He's also very kind and patient.  Maximum Level's facilities and client service are great.  I was always treated with respect.

• Tom was really good about teaching the course in an organized and non-overwhelming manner.  He really guided and prepared me for the practical teaching module and was a great support system.  Maximum Level has very nice and clean facilities.  I really liked having a TEFL-only room to do my work.  I felt the program flowed very nicely.  I also liked how we immediately began teaching mini-lessons.

• Tom is excellent!  Absolutely zero possibility that I would have finished the course successfully without his help.  After the first mini-lesson, I was lost... now I am extremely confident in my abilities.  There was a mix-up in my apartment, but Eliza didn't just fix it in an extremely timely manner, but she got me a great deal on my new place!  Maximum Level's facilities are state of the art. All 12 modules were excellent, and I feel like I recieved much more than I anticipated.  I am extremely happy with the course.

• I thought Tom was very experienced, knowledgable, and he did a good job making the class fun.  Maximum Level was excellent.  I thought it was great that we had our own room for everything.  Their service was very good too.

• I'm very grateful for this course and for the way Tom taught it.  Excellent customer service—everything anyone could want.  The party was very nice too.  Having our own TEFL Room with computers and printer was a bonus!

• Tom had such great energy, which made the days go by so quickly.  I never thought I'd have a teacher that could make learning grammar fun!  I gained so much from observing Tom's teaching style, and this really helped me in my lessons.  Everyone at Maximum Level is so helpful and kind.  I loved having 24/7 access to the TEFL Training Room.  All the resources were there at my fingertips.  Overall, I loved the TEFL course.  I feel that I learned so much and now feel confident teaching in any corner of the world.

• Tom's high energy and humor kept the class fun during long and sometimes stressful days.  Everyone at Maximum Level has been extremely friendly and always willing to help.  Overall, I'm very happy with the TEFL course and feel well prepared for a job teaching English.
